We know times are tough right now, and many people are facing much uncertainty in their daily lives. United Way is here to help you weather this storm. Last year we introduced ResourceRoundUp.com, a website that connects people to programs and services in the community with the simple click of a button. Families can easily search through available resources and quickly see vital information like hours of service and eligibility requirements.
With the COVID-19 crisis this tool has become an even more vital part of our efforts to help connect our neighbors to the resources they need. We are in constant contact with our community partners to make sure we have the most up to date information on services posted to the site. We have also created special COVID-19 related tabs to help you find things like:
- Activities for the kids now that they are home from school
- Temporary jobs for those who are out of work due to social distancing and stay at home orders
- Child care for those who do still have to work during this crisis
- Rent/Mortgage and utility assistance
- Pantries and other food assistance programs
- Healthcare services
- Mental health services
- Filing for unemployment
- And much, much more
ResourceRoundUp.com is a free resource for anyone in the community looking to access services. It's also free to any nonprofit, ministry, or government organization that offers services to the public. Organizations can post services and manage their listings on the site so that the community has access to up-to-date information. If you are interested in listing your services on ResourceRoundUp.com please contact Andrea Proulx Buinicki at email@example.com.
If you know anyone in need of help, please direct them to ResourceRoundUp.com. If you know any organizations that are serving the public right now, please ask them to join ResourceRoundUp.com. It's been said before, but it always bares repeating, we're all in this together and it takes all of us working together to make sure our community comes through this. United Way is here to help, so please share this information with those who need it and use ResourceRoundUp.com as a tool in the fight against COVID-19.
