The Way Home Project 2021

Make moving in the first step to moving forward for someone starting a new life.

You can make a house a home.

Provide household items for someone transitioning from homelessness.

On May 1, 20 people who experienced long-term homelessness will make their way home when they move into apartments at the new Four Ten Lofts in downtown Baltimore.

Most will be moving in with little more than what they can carry in a duffle bag or backpack—and we need your help to make their house a home.

Fueled by Leaders United, a group of United Way donors and advocates, The Way Home project will provide these newly housed tenants with household items we take for granted.

Move-in day is quickly approaching! Please help us reach our goal of filling 20 apartments with much-needed home goods.

What your donation provides:

  • $25 Dishes, kitchen utensils
  • $50 Bath towels, shower curtain, bathroom items
  • $100 Vacuum cleaner
  • $250 Sheets, pillows, comforter, and blanket
  • $1500 All items above and stocked pantry for one apartment

Project partners include Health Care for the Homeless and Episcopal Housing Corporation.
