Help Power Education this Giving Tuesday

Support building stronger in-school resources and services

Give to United Way of Salt Lake

Your generous contribution will ensure that our community school partnerships can continue to grow and thrive.

The toll of a school bell signals more than the start of the day at United Way of Salt Lake community schools. It begins another day of opportunities for kids to lay a foundation for success with the support of their school.

Community schools aren’t only a hub for a high-quality education for every child. As headquarters for community partnerships, they ensure kids have access to food, healthcare resources, and basic needs services necessary for them to make school their top priority.

This Giving Tuesday -- one of the biggest days of global giving -- we hope that YOU will help fuel education in our community by making a donation to UWSL. Your support on December 3 will allow us to continue building up our community schools so kids have all the tools they need to achieve their dreams.

The support community schools provide looks different for every child. One student may come from a family without access to affordable healthcare, and is connected to the on-site dental clinics offered at their school. For another, it looks like attending an afterschool program for homework help and a meal, since their parents work second shift jobs.

Other students need new winter clothes, or access to the mobile food pantry for their entire family. These partnerships give kids a chance to focus on learning, instead of the toothache they’ve had for weeks, or the hunger pangs they get just after arriving to school.

We know that when kids have the tools to succeed, great things happen! Whether you’ve given before or you’re new to UWSL’s work, let this be your year to power education and fuel successful communities.

With your support, we can fuel successful lives through the power of education! Will you make a Giving Tuesday donation to UWSL today?
